Medical Director

An established 24/7 Emergency Pet Clinic in the Denver, CO area is seeking a Medical Director to lead their dedicated team. The clinic is known for its supportive, collaborative environment, and high-quality care, with many team members having been with the clinic for many years. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian looking to step into a leadership role whilst maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and medical guidance to a team of emergency veterinarians.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement medical policies, protocols, and standards of care.
  • Drive medical quality and performance, overseeing continuing education and protocol development.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload to stay connected with the team and emergency medicine.

Work Schedule & Work-Life Balance:

  • 11-13 shifts per month

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $180,000 $250,000 - 24% production!
  • Additional leadership compensation of $15,000 for Medical Director responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company contributions, CE allowance, and paid time off.
  • Reimbursement for professional licensure and additional certifications.
