Small Animal Veterinarian

Global Talent Partners is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a long-established community practice in Lewiston, Maine.

The Practice

The practice focuses on small animal general practice, including preventative medicine, internal medicine and surgery, with the opportunity to develop your own areas of clinical interest.

You'll benefit from an excellent 2:1 technician-to-DVM support model, allowing you to concentrate on patient care and client relationships rather than administrative tasks.

The Role

You'll primarily see dogs and cats, managing a varied general practice caseload including:

•Wellness and preventative care
•Internal medicine
•Routine surgery

There is also plenty of scope to develop areas of clinical interest and shape your role around the type of medicine you enjoy.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced veterinarian who:

•Holds a DVM/VMD from an accredited university
•Is licensed to practice in Maine, or eligible for licensure
•Has experience in small animal general practice
•Enjoys relationship-based veterinary medicine

•Wants clinical autonomy without working in isolation
