Emergency Veterinarian New Orleans, LA with $40,000 Sign-On Bonus - Mentorship & Career Growth

A leading multi-specialty veterinary hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative, 24/7 emergency and specialty care team.

Rosters are created two/three months in advance and there are 3 shifts available: Days (7:30AM- 7:30PM) Swing (10:00AM-10:00PM) & Nights (7:30PM 7:30AM) and if working full time 3 shifts per week typically required. (3 nights only requested per month and you would have flexibility to build these night shifts into your roster in a way that best suited our personal preferences). NB, If this style of roster doesn't work for you / your out of work commitments, please do still make an application as our contact can accomodate other working patterns too!


Advanced Equipment & Technology:

• Digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT
• On-site laboratory, endoscopy/laparoscopy, and I-131 treatment
• Regional access to MRI, dialysis, and plasmapheresis services

Qualifications:

• DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent)
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Louisiana
• Previous emergency experience is preferred, but confident new graduates are welcome
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative medicine
