The Role

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs and cats
  • Manage wellness and sick appointments; diagnose, treat, and create clear treatment plans
  • Perform common soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter, laceration repairs, and mass removals
  • Deliver comprehensive dentistry, including dental radiography and periodontal treatments
  • Interpret in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide case management
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and the care team
  • Maintain thorough medical records and support a culture of safety and low-stress handling
  • Collaborate with colleagues and mentor support staff
  • Full-time or part-time options; typical clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sat 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a shared Saturday rotation

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in California, or eligibility to obtain
  • DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Commitment to high standards of care, ethics, and client service
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
